A "sad job"?

I am always asked, "is what you do a sad job?"

I write about and I study crime. Yes, it is terrible to see what humans are capable of doing to one another. But I also get to meet some of the finest people - survivors, volunteers, professionals, and - yes - animals! Here are just a few of those amazing times.

Dr. Henry C. Lee
(11- 22-1938 – 03-27-2026)

My brilliant friend. I will miss our talks and our laughter. I spoke with you a week before you left us. "Come see me in Las Vegas" you said. I wish....

Our first meeting. Many followed.

You left a legacy that can never be copied.
You left friends who respect and love you.
Thank you for all you did, and all that will be done in the future.
I will miss you daily, my friend.

Henry had invited me to attend an event in Japan and tour the museum built about his work. There were visa issues and I missed it. We both said "next time."
I am honored that one of my books is  now in his museum.

With Angel after we had presented.
